KinoKabaret is a gathering of filmmakers that happens in over 70 cities each year. Worldwide.
The idea is simple: for 10 days filmmakers, actors, cinematographers, musicians, editors, artists,… get together to make movies. They meet in the KinoLAB, where they have 3×3 days to develop, shoot and edit their movies or help others to get their films ready.
After 3 days the finished movies are screened to the audience, and the next day everything starts over again.
If you want to participate, you don’t have to know anybody. If you want to make your own movie or think you can help someone else, join the our event: you will find your team on the first day during the Production Meeting. This is where everybody introduces themselves and says what they want to contribute (Actor, Cinematographer, Editor,…).
And if you already have a film you want to shoot during the next 3 days, you can pitch your idea to the other participants, and tell everybody what you still need (Camera, Editor, Actors…).
After the production meeting, people hang out in the KinoLAB and find collaborators, write their scripts, start shooting, or just chat to fellow filmmakers.
